Wuv, Twu Wuv :: Forest Grove, Oregon Engagement Photographer

18 Jan

This couple was so much fun to shoot.  It helps that they are my cousin and her fiance, but that only contributed to my knowing them, not the joy from this day.

We had SO much fun! I wish I could shoot them every day!

Her dad is a retired firefighter, which means we had to play at the fire department!  They were up for anything!

And one last one, my favorite from the whole day:
Romantic in Oregon

Thank you, Megan and Ethan for being such amazing models and being so much in love!  I cannot wait to meet with you on Sunday to show you the rest!

Back in October, I reintroduced you to my niece, who along with her husband were pregnant!

Well, they had a beautiful baby girl, about 30 minutes after my husband had his stroke.  So I didn’t get to go down that Saturday like I had planned.  But I did get to visit her on Christmas Eve!  The lights were bright, the presents were wrapped, it was a perfect day.

If you’ve been a reader of my blog, you’ve met my cousin’s family.  Her boys have been a fixture in my blog for a long time.

This is the newest member of their family.  I did his newborn photos and around Christmas, it was time for his 3 month!  We just HAD to get the tree involved!

Big Boy!

I even got some with my beautiful cousin.

What Are YOU Looking At?

And when I first got there, he was in overalls.  When Trin showed me the new outfits he had, I just knew what we had to do.

Farmer Andrew!  Not quite the best setup, thanks to a stinky baby that stole the camera off of my pseudo tripod setup.  Thankfully, I got a tripod for Christmas, so this won’t be an issue anymore!

Enjoy your Sneak Peek, my dear! I’ll get the rest to you soon!

Holbrook Masonic Lodge Installation ~ Forest Grove, Oregon Event Photographer

20 Dec

Saturday morning I woke up to snow and was worried that we would be snowed in for my first Masonic Lodge Installation where I was not a visitor. I would be working. I was excited. Even with everything that was going on with Ryan, I was looking forward to this. Especially since this would be the first shoot with my new camera where I was comfortable enough to shoot it on Manual Mode.

It helped that I knew most everyone at the event, the Masonic Family is tight. Most of these men have known me for years, if not decades. I felt right at home and was ready to do what I loved.

So thank you, Mr. Hinton, for trusting in me to capture your big day. It was a pleasure and an honor! I hope you are happy with what you see, and I cannot wait to show you the rest!
