Great Weekend

7 Jul

I’m back!  Did you miss me?

Okay, probably not…but that’s okay!

I had a fantastic weekend and hope you did too!

We went to the beach, ate at Mo’s and snuggled with our Auntie and Uncle:

Discovered that crackers are not yummy….

But they may taste better outside of the plastic...

It was very cold outside.

The party was a great success.

and Monday I had the pleasure of photographing this little 4 week old cutie pie!

She looks like a little troll doll and was such a great little model.  I’ll post some of those photos when they get edited!

How did your weekend go?

Friday!

3 Jul

I know…it’s Friday and there is no College post.  It’s about halfway done, but I’m trying to figure out how to end it.

That and I’m at the beach today.  Trying not to melt in the massive heat wave the Northwest is having and spending time with my sister-in-law and her husband.

So instead, cute baby alert!

Oh, and I won’t be here Monday either.  Having a lovely long 4-day weekend.  I am so excited!  I hope everyone has an amazing Independence Day and if anyone isn’t from the US, has a great weekend too!

Don’t cry!  I’ll be back Tuesday!

Here, have another baby!

Happy 4th!

Friends Makin’ Monday – 4th of July!

29 Jun

It’s Monday again!  Time for a FMM!  Shawn is hosting the party this week, so go visit for some more great answers and possibly some friends!

* What are you doing this July 4th?

We are having a party at our new place! It’s going to be a housewarming party as well. Grilling some dawgs and having people bring appetizers. I’m very excited!

* What is your favorite dish to pass when attending a 4th of July party or summer barbecue?

I am a HUGE fan of deviled eggs and baked beans. But I usually bring my awesomest dip ever. Cream cheese and no bean chili. One box of cream cheese and a can of chili. Heat together. Viola! Serve with chips, tortillas, on a sandwich, however you want!

* Do you have any July 4th traditions?

Hoping to make this party a tradition. We finally have a place large enough to entertain and we are excited. Other than that, we’ve usually just gone over to my parent’s and grilled. Sometimes fireworks, sometimes not.

* Share your favorite July 4th picture.

I don’t have any. Okay, that’s a lie. I know there are some at my parent’s house. Somewhere. On actual photo paper. In a photo album. But I don’t have access to them. And they aren’t scanned. So I’m sorry. I’ve failed.

Don’t beat me!  Here!  Baby!  Cute Baby!  *runs away*
