And Up Again

5 Jan

See?  It’s a roller coaster!  I’ve gone from happy to depressed to happy again.  All in three days.

But last night, after dealing with cell phone companies, both good and bad (the bad was actually just from the “customer care” person on the phone) I’m an Android user on my dad’s account (yay cheaper for family plans) and we got Ryan an easy to use phone so we can stay in contact when he gets home and we have a pseudo plan for the days to come.  Let’s hope it stays that way.

Coming home to see this though?

Sleeping Angel

The cherry on top.  She had fallen asleep, waiting for me, by herself in her Grandpa’s chair.

I got to get ready for bed, by myself, then cuddle into bed with her and fall asleep.

Today will be a better day.

I hope the roller coaster ride stops soon and you have some kind of normal again. Have you thought about reaching out to you church? There may be some retired people that would be willing to come and visit with Ryan during the days that you are not there… and for much less then a nurse– that is if he does not NEED a nurse of course.

Kathy I am a fan of this! There are probably plenty of people who would be willing to help 🙂 Even friends of your parents and friends of his mom would probably love to help as well!

Oh mama! I can’t even begin to imagine how hard this ride is for you. I send you all the strength in the world. You are an awesome lady for even seeing all the “ups” in this ride. So many of us focus on the drops. You rock. I am wishing Ryan a speedy recovery and you many many more ups in the coming days.

Oh, that picture makes me smile. So funny. She looks like she couldn’t fight it any longer. 🙂
