Long Weekend

2 Jul

We’ll be enjoying a fantastic 3 day weekend. It can’t start soon enough!

My sister-in-law and her fantastic husband and their 3 month old baby are in town. Tomorrow we go to the zoo! I can’t wait! Then Sunday will be party at our place. Monday, who knows. Hopefully meeting up with Leah of Go{4}Pro Photography to get some plans done for her workshop later this year among other things. I cannot wait!

I wish we were already moved…because the Waterfront Blues Festival is going on this weekend, and it would be awesome to go.  But it’ll be crazy busy too, so maybe not.

Been so busy and always looking to be busier.  Now, if only I’d stop getting this fever at night and have to push puss out of my breast, I’d be fine.

Who’s hungry?

And speaking of hungry, we are having sausages and burgers on Sunday…what are your traditional Independence Day foods?

Puss in the breast? mmmmm, that sounds full of the awesomesauce – NOT. What happened? And I saw you said something about weaning? I presume the two are related? I may have to wean soon, though neither of us is actually ready. I got a job teaching online!!!! The bad news is that it involves a 5-day training stint out of town at the end of this month. Don’t know how I’m going to make that work. Argh. Well, I hope you feel better and enjoy this long weekend with your family. Yay zoo!!!! (our favorite place)

Yeah, it was….not fun. Basically, the beginning bits of mastisis before getting a full on crappy-ness. Anti-biotics and manual expression helped clear it up real fast. Painful but so worth it. 😀 But it happened because as we’ve been weaning, she’s stopped draining the end-milk. Which let it sit there for too long. So just make sure you still drain them.

Congratulations on the job! That is SO AWESOME!!! And you both will be just fine. Have fun!

You are moving? Again? Where to this time?

Yes, we are….we LOVE where we live, but I need real internet for the freelance stuff I’m doing as well as having to head into Portland about once a week. So we are moving closer into town. Hard to leave but it’s for the best for everyone….
