You Capture – Color

28 Jan

This weekend being my daughter’s birthday party, I had plenty of chances to capture colors!

Granddaughter and Nana

My daughter and her Nana, in very colorful shirts.

Colorful Cakes

The colorful cake and cupcakes for her birthday.  With very colorful and yummy cream cheese spread and THE BEST SALSA EVER.

Colorful Faces

Colorful expressions on her face.

Colorful Character

A colorful character.  Complete with a dab of color on his scalp.

Colorless Doll

It’s amazing how removing the many colors can make something so normal into something…creepy.

That first shot with Nana is really eye-popping color. Nice. And , just for curiosity, why pirates?

Because Pirates are awesome, of course! Duh! 😉

Seriously though, it just sounded fun. And we do really enjoy pirates in our household. We were going to go to the pirate festival in Portland this past summer, with Baby Soup in a blue sweatsuit with “feathers” sewn on so she would be our parrot. But didn’t work.

I like the colorful expression and the rosy cheeks in your photo of your daughter. I also love that you used a pirate theme. My daughter loves pirates.
